Constructive Dialogue Institute: Fostering Dialogue Skills in Students

This session prepares instructors and staff with the tools to make dialogue a key component of their course or co-curricular learning environment. It highlights the skills associated with teaching in a dialogue-focused classroom. Faculty and staff in this course review the prepare-support-intervene (PSI) approach, a model created by the Constructive Dialogue Institute that gives educators the tools to prepare students for dialogue, support them during conversation, and intervene if de-escalation is required.
