Chris Liddell

Chris Liddell was assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for policy coordination during the Donald Trump administration. Before that, he served as assistant to the president and director of strategic initiatives, overseeing efforts to streamline the federal government’s regulatory process and modernize its technology systems. In 2012, he served as the executive director of the Mitt Romney presidential transition planning team. He was previously chief financial officer at Microsoft, the vice chairman and chief financial officer at General Motors, senior vice president and chief financial officer of International Paper, and the director and chairman of Xerox. Lidell holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Auckland in New Zealand and a MPhil from Oxford University.
