Connie Jorgensen

Connie Jorgensen is an assistant professor of political science at Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC). She also directs PVCC's Quality Enhancement Plan: "Civic Sense: Engaging Students in the Civic Life of Their Communities." In 2021, Jorgensen was given the Dale Parnell Distinguished Faculty award from the American Association of Community Colleges. In 2023, PVCC was awarded Campus Compact’s Eduardo Padron Award for Institutional Transformation.
