He previously wrote about Presidents Donald J. Trump and Barack Obama for The Times and Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush for The Washington Post. He wrote The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017–2021, with his wife, Susan Glasser, who is a journalist at The New Yorker.
