Sarah Milov is an associate professor of history at the University of Virginia, the author of The Cigarette: A Political History, and co-director of the Karsh Institute of Democracy’s Repair Lab, an interdisciplinary environmental justice research lab. A historian of politics, law, and labor, she is working on a biography of nuclear whistleblower Karen Silkwood.
