Ashwin Vaidya

Ashwin Vaidya is a professor of mathematics at Montclair State University. He also holds a joint appointment in the department of physics. Vaidya’s scholarship and teaching are in the area of complex systems, and his work involves mathematical modeling issues with technological, biological, sociological, and psychological phenomena. As chair of the department of mathematics, he is dedicated to helping create socially responsible and ethically meaningful education experiences and programs for his students.
