Hatsy Vallar
- Former Executive, Finance and Medical Institutions
Hatsy Vallar is a graduate of Smith College and NYU’s Stern School of Business, with a degree in finance. She has spent most of her career in banking and then as a hospital executive in charge of the hospital’s foundation and marketing department. Prior to moving to Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2016, she served on multiple boards and co-chaired a $30 million capital campaign. She currently serves as chair of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Board, sits on the Martha Jefferson Medical Affairs Board, and is the co-founder of the Friends of the Miller Center. Vallar also serves on the Miller Center’s Governing Council.
