‘More Perfect’: Renewing American Democracy

D360

Universal civic learning. National service and volunteering. Bridging divides. Trusted elections and more representative and responsive governance. Access to trusted news and information. These are five critical democracy goals of  More Perfect, a bipartisan initiative that engages institutions and people in protecting and renewing American democracy. In partnership with the Karsh Institute of Democracy at the University of Virginia, all 14 of our nation’s presidential centers,  National Archives Foundation, American Academy of Arts & Sciences, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and more than 100 other organizations nationwide, More Perfect is leading the charge to unify America around a shared vision for democratic renewal and to realize the shared goal of a more perfect union.

Hosted and produced by the Karsh Institute of Democracy and More Perfect. Introduction by Melody Barnes, executive director of the Karsh Institute of Democracy.
