Guian McKee is a professor of public policy at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center and Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. At the Miller Center, McKee is the co-chair of the Presidential Recordings Program and co-directs the Health Care Policy Project. His research focuses on how federal policy, especially in the executive branch, plays out at the local level in American communities. He has written extensively about urban policy and has had many articles published in a variety of journals and media organizations. McKee earned his bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and his doctoral degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
