Lee LeBoeuf

Lee LeBoeuf is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the psychology department at the University of Virginia. She studies education equity, discipline disproportionality, and Montessori education. LeBoeuf has been a Democracy of Data Fellow in the Karsh Institute of Democracy’s Equity Center since the summer of 2021. In this role, she has contributed to several projects related to equity in the Charlottesville region, including the Stepping Stones report, The Orange Dot Report, and the Charlottesville Climate Equity app. Additionally, LeBoeuf is an Institute of Education Sciences pre-doctoral fellow and a LIFE Fellow with the Max Plank Institute for Human Development. Prior to beginning graduate school at UVA, LeBoeuf taught elementary school in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2017.
