Democratization of Data: Local Data, Local Governance

D360

Local governments wield considerable power to promote the wellbeing of residents. Data is a powerful resource for informing policy, assessing equity, and holding governments accountable. Learn more about the university-city collaboration to update and expand the Stepping Stones report, which assesses the community well-being of children and families in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area. How can this report promote a shared understanding of well-being? The panel reviews key findings and explores what it means to be part of the conversation.
