Cristine Nardi has been executive director of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) since 2008, directing strategy and operations for the organization and serving as a non-voting member of CNE’s board of directors. A lawyer by training, Nardi consults with funders and nonprofits on a wide range of governance and management issues, designs leadership development programs, and is the co-architect of CNE’s “7 Actionable Principles for a Strong Social Sector” framework. She facilitates strategic collaboration among nonprofits, funders, and their community partners to effect positive community change and advocates for a strong social impact sector across Virginia.
