Karsh Institute Director of Finance and Administration

The Karsh Institute of Democracy (KIOD) Director of Finance and Administration is a new position that will direct financial and human resource activities and ensure the financial health and policy compliance of the Institute and its affiliates, including UVA’s Equity Center and Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
Reporting to the Managing Director of the KIOD and serving as a member of the Karsh Institute’s leadership team, the Director will lead an innovative effort to constitute a newly centralized team of finance professionals and collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide financial expertise and strategic guidance. The Director of Finance and Administration is a key leadership role designed to drive innovation and financial excellence in our fast-paced organization. Karsh Institute Research Fellow

The research fellow is a two-year position with the Karsh Institute, in partnership with the UVA School of Law’s Karsh Center for Law and Democracy and the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School to conduct and guide research associated with the “50 Constitutions Project.”
The “50 Constitutions Project” is housed at the State Democracy Research Initiative at the University of Wisconsin Law School. It aims to facilitate engagement with state constitutions and their evolution over time. UVA's Karsh Institute of Democracy invites applications for two-year postdoctoral fellowships in the Digital Technology for Democracy Lab.
