Program Manager
Luke Forbes is the program manager for the Karsh Institute's programming team. He holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the American University. Forbes began his career in public service, interning in the U.S. House of Representatives and serving as a community ambassador in the California State Assembly, representing his home districts.
He later spent three years in Washington, D.C., working in political research and consulting, with a focus on corporate reputation and risk, public policy, and data analytics. Prior to his current role, Forbes also spent four years in the specialty coffee industry, where he managed café operations, developed menus, and consulted on small-business strategy and growth.
With experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Forbes brings a unique perspective to program development and team leadership. He is passionate about building systems that help people and organizations operate more effectively.
