Katelyn Chu is a third-year undergraduate at UVA from Chantilly, Virginia, and has interned at the Karsh Institute since her first year. She is double majoring in economics and global security and justice and minoring in religious studies.

Chu has been a student leader in the Karsh Institute‘s Civic Cornerstone Fellowship and other programming, including the signature Democracy360 event. She also has participated in UVA's Public Service Pathways and One Small Step. She is excited to be working with the Karsh Institute, UVA School of Law, and University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School on the 50 Constitutions project.
