Karly Scholz is a fourth year UVA student from Madison, Wisconsin, majoring in history and media studies and minoring in economics. She joined the Karsh Institute of Democracy’s Student Advisory Council during her first year and has deepened her commitment to democracy through her work with multiple gun violence prevention organizations since early high school.
