Message Over Platform: Weighing Social Media and Democracy

Former U.S. Rep. Barbara Comstock will join U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, UVA law professor Danielle Citron and media studies professor Siva Vaidhyanathan for “Social Media vs. Democracy,” a Democracy Dialogues series event produced by UVA’s Karsh Institute of Democracy and co-sponsored by UVA’s Miller Center of Public Affairs. The hourlong session is set to explore the evolving impact of social media on politics and in other areas of life.
